ว่าไงสายอาร์ต วันนี้เราจะพาทุกท่านไปพบกับผลงานศิลปะสุดน่ารักโดยศิลปินไทยชื่อดังอย่าง กิตติ นารอด กับผลงาน “Cat cafe” ที่ถูกจัดแสดงในนิทรรศการ “Simplicity Serenade” ณ กรุงปักกิ่ง ถ้าพร้อมแล้วก็ไปรับชมกันได้เลย
“Cat cafe” โดย กิตติ นารอด ผลงานที่น่าจะถูกใจสายคาเฟ่และคนรักแมว มาพร้อมลายเส้นอันเป็นเอกลักษณ์ของศิลปิน โดยผลงานในภาพศิลปินก็ได้ไอเดียจากจากคาเฟ่แมวในเมือง ที่จะเป็นร้านกาแฟพร้อมกับมีแมวให้เหล่าคนรักสัตว์ได้ไปเล่น ซึ่งแมวหลายตัวในภาพ ศิลปินก็ได้เอาแมวที่ศิลปินเลี้ยงไว้มากกว่า 10 ตัว เป็นแรงบัลดาลใจในการวาดผลงานชิ้นนี้ออกมา และถ้าหากเราย้อนไปดูผลงานของศิลปิน เราก็จะเห็นน้องแมวตัวหนึ่งที่ปรากฎในผลงานของศิลปินอยู่บ่อยๆ อย่างเจ้าแมวตัวสีส้มที่ศิลปินตั้งชื่อให้ว่า Ginger boy โลดแล่นอยู่ในผลงานต่างๆ ของศิลปินอีกมาก ใครที่สนใจก็สามารถไปย้อนดูผลงานของคุณกิตติกันได้!
ศิลปินเล่าว่า คอนเซ็ปต์การทำงานของเขาส่วนใหญ่ จะเป็นการตอบสนอง กับเรื่องรอบๆ ตัวของเขาเอง ไม่ว่าจะเป็นสังคมที่อยู่ระหว่างชนชั้นแรงงานกับชนชั้นกลาง หรือ การเมือง รวมไปถึงเรื่องส่วนตัว ซึ่งศิลปินเขียนภาพเหล่านี้ออกมาเพื่อให้มันเป็นบทสนทนาระหว่างศิลปินกับผู้ชม ผลงานของศิลปินจะพยายามไม่เขียนให้ซับซ้อน สื่อความหมายของภาพโดยตรง ทำให้ผู้ชมไม่ต้องตีความถึงความหมายของภาพ แค่ปล่อยใจและรับชมผลงานต่างๆ เพื่อให้ตัวผู้ชมรู้สึกสบายใจ สนุก และเพลิดเพลินในเวลาที่ได้ชมผลงานของศิลปิน
นิทรรศการ “Simplicity Serenade” กับผลงานทั้งหมด 18 ชิ้น ที่ศิลปินต้องการจะสื่อถึงการมองโลกในสเกลที่แตกต่างกัน ตั้งแต่ เรื่องปรัชญา สภาพภูมิอากาศ การเมือง เรื่องส่วนตัว รวมไปถึง Pop Culture ซึ่งผลงานทั้งหมดของศิลปิน ก็นำเสนอถึงความเรียบง่าย และมีสีสันสดใส พร้อมกับมุมมองที่แหวกแนวตามสไตล์ของศิลปิน
กิตติ นารอด จบการศึกษาจากภาควิชาจิตรกรรม คณะศิลปกรรม สถาบันเทคโนโลยีราชมงคลธัญบุรี และภาควิชาจิตรกรรมสากล วิทยาลัยเพาะช่าง ผลงานของกิตติได้ถูกจัดแสดงหลายต่อหลายครั้งทั้งในกรุงเทพฯ และต่างประเทศ และได้ถูกเลือกให้ไปจัดนิทรรศการร่วมกันกับศิลปินหน้าใหม่ไฟแรงท่านอื่นๆ ในต่างประเทศด้วยเช่นกัน อาทิ ประเทศอังกฤษ ไอร์แลนด์ ออสเตรเลีย แคนาดา และสิงคโปร์

"Cat Cafe" by Kitti Narod is a creation that is likely to delight coffee lovers and cat enthusiasts alike. It comes with unique artistically designed patterns. The artist drew inspiration from cat cafes in the city, which combine coffee shops with opportunities for animal lovers to interact with cats. Several cats featured in the artwork, with the artist including more than 10 of his own cats as a source of inspiration for this piece. If we look back at the artist's previous works, we can often spot one particular cat that frequently appears in his pieces, a ginger cat known as "Ginger boy." Ginger Boy gracefully roams through many of the artist's works. Anyone interested can look back at the artist’s portfolio to explore his creations further!
The artist explains that his work concept primarily involves reacting to the surroundings around him, whether it's the social dynamics between the working class and the middle class, politics, or personal matters. The artist creates these images to make it an engaging conversation between the artist and the audience. The artist's work strives not to be overly complex, directly conveying the meaning of the images, so the viewers don't have to interpret the imagery. They simply allow themselves to relax and enjoy the various works, making the audience feel comfortable, entertained, and delighted while appreciating the artist's work.
The exhibition "Simplicity Serenade" features a total of 18 artworks in which the artist aims to convey diverse perspectives on the world. These perspectives range from philosophy, climate, politics, personal matters, and even Pop Culture. All the artworks by the artist present a sense of simplicity and vibrant colors, along with a perspective that breaks away from the artist's unique style.
Kitti Narod completed his studies in the Department of Fine Arts at Rajamonkong Institute of Technology, Bangkok, Thailand. His works have been exhibited numerous times both in Bangkok and abroad. He has also been selected to participate in exhibitions with other emerging artists in various countries, including the United Kingdom, Iceland, Australia, Canada, and Singapore.
