ว่าไงสายอาร์ต วันนี้เราจะพาทุกท่านไปพบกับผลงานจากศิลปินที่พูดชื่อไปทุกท่านจะต้องรู้จักกันแน่นอนอย่าง Pod Art หรือที่เรารู้จักกันในนาม ธนชัย อุชชิน (Pod Moderndog) กับการกลับมาจัด Solo Exhibition อีกครั้ง ณ 333Gallery จะเป็นยังไง ตามไปอ่านกันได้เลย!!
What's up, Art Lovers? Today, we're going to introduce you to the works of an artist you should definitely know, Pod Art, also known as Thanachai Ujjin (Pod Moderndog). He's making a comeback with another Solo Exhibition at 333Gallery. Let's find out more!
ผลงาน “Splash” โดยศิลปิน Pod Art ที่จุดเด่นของผลงานชิ้นนี้คือ การที่ถูกวาดขึ้นสดๆต่อหน้าผู้ชม ตัวชิ้นงานจะเป็นการ Paint ลงบนภาพถ่าย ที่ถ่ายผลงาน Painting ของศิลปินเองอีกชั้นนึง ซึ่งถ้าเราสังเกตุภาพดีๆ ก็จะเห็นกรอบภาพรูปถ่ายด้านในที่ถูกเขียนทับลงไป ซึ่งภาพนี้ได้ถูก Print ลงบน Canvas ขนาดใหญ่ที่สุดที่ศิลปินเคยทำมา และถือเป็นการ Paint สดๆต่อหน้าสาธารณะชนเป็นครั้งแรกอีกด้วย ซึ่งศิลปินต้องใช้สติและอารมณ์ความรู้สึกตัวในขณะปัจจุบันเป็นแนวทางหลักตอนวาดภาพ ไม่ต่างจากผลงาน abstract ชิ้นอื่นๆของศิลปิน ที่นำเสนอการปลดปล่อยด้วยสัญชาตญาณและการสังเกตการเปลี่ยนแปลงของจิตใจ รวมถึงการเฝ้าดูความรู้สึกนึกคิดในปัจจุบันอีกด้วย
The artwork "Splash" by artist Pod Art stands out because it's created live in front of the audience. The artwork is painted directly onto a photograph taken of another one of the artist's paintings. If you look closely, you'll see the frame of the original photograph within the painting. This image has been printed on the largest canvas the artist has ever worked on, making it a fresh and public-facing piece of work. Like Pod Art's other abstract pieces, this one also reflects the release of emotions and the observation of changing moods, along with capturing current thoughts and feelings during the painting process.
เนื้อหาทั้งหมดภายในนิทรรศการจะแบ่งออกเป็น 8 โซน ซึ่งมีที่มาจากองค์ประกอบของเพลง คือ Intro, Verse, Pre-Chorus, Chorus, Verse 2, Bridge, Solo และ Outro ซึ่งผลงาน “Splash” นั้น ก็เปรียบเสมือนกับท่อน Verse 2 ในองค์ประกอบของเพลง ที่จะเป็นการเล่าเรื่องต่อจากท่อน Chorus ที่เป็นท่อนหลัก ซึ่งท่อน Chorus นั้นก็เปรียบได้กับงาน Acrylic on Canvas ของศิลปิน ท่อน Verse2 จึงเป็นการ Explore การใช้วัสดุและเทคนิคอื่นๆ ในการทำงานนอกจากการระบายสีลงบนแคนวาสนั่นเอง
The entire content within the exhibition will be divided into 8 zones, each originating from the components of a song: Intro, Verse, Pre-Chorus, Chorus, Verse 2, Bridge, Solo, and Outro. The artwork "Splash" can be likened to the Verse 2 section of the song components, where it continues the narrative from the main Chorus section. The Chorus section itself can be compared to the artist's work "Acrylic on Canvas." Verse 2 is an exploration of materials and techniques beyond just applying paint on canvas.
สายอาร์ตที่สนใจนิทรรศการ “Compilation” ก็สามารถไปชมกันได้ โดยภายในนิทรรศการ ศิลปินก็จะมาเผยถึงเส้นทางในด้านศิลปะที่ศิลปินทำมาอย่างต่อเนื่องนับตั้งแต่ปี 2013 ซึ่งเป็นช่วงที่เริ่มสร้างสรรค์งานศิลปะ งานแสดงเดี่ยวครั้งนี้จัดร่วมกับภัณฑารักษ์ ไหม วงศ์สวัสดิ์ จะถูกนำเสนอในรูปแบบที่ได้แรงบันดาลใจมาจากโครงสร้างของดนตรีอันเป็นการตอกย้ำถึงอิทธิพลของศิลปินคนนี้ที่มีต่อวงการเพลงของประเทศไทย รับชมได้ตั้งแต่วันนี้ ถึงวันที่ 8 ตุลาคม 2023 ณ 333Gallery เวลา 11.00 - 20.00 น. (ปิดวันจันทร์) เปิดให้เข้าชมฟรี ห้ามพลาดเด็ดขาด!!
Art enthusiasts interested in the "Compilation" exhibition can come and view it. Within the exhibition, the artist will reveal his artistic journey, which has been continuous since 2013, a period when he began creating art. This solo exhibition is presented in collaboration with a curator, Mai Wongsawasdi, and will be presented in a format inspired by the structure of music, highlighting the artist's influence on the Thai music scene. You can enjoy it from today until October 8, 2023, at 333Gallery from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM (closed on Mondays), and admission is free. Don't miss out!
