ว่าไงสายอาร์ต สัปดาห์นี้เราจะพาทุกท่านไปชมผลงานเซรามิกจากศิลปินไทยชาวราชบุรี วศินบุรี สุพานิชวรภาชน์ กับการกลับมาจัดนิทรรศการเดี่ยวเซรามิก ครั้งแรกในรอบเกือบ 10 ปี กับผลงาน “OMG (Oh my gourd (vase)) no.3” ผลงานชิ้นนี้น่าสนใจอย่างไรบ้าง ถ้าพร้อมแล้วก็ตามมารับชมกันได้เลย!!
ผลงาน “OMG (Oh my gourd (vase)) no.3” โดย วศินบุรี สุพานิชวรภาชน์ ผลงานเซรามิกในรูปทรงเหมือนถูกทำลายและถูกประกอบกลับมาให้อยู่ในรูปแบบเดิม ซึ่งผลงานชิ้นนี้ได้รับแรงบันดาลใจมาจากชิ้นงานเซรามิก ที่ถูกขโมยไปจาก The Princessehof Ceramics Museum เมือง Leeuwarden ประเทศเนเธอร์แลนด์ เมื่อวันที่ 13 กุมภาพันธ์ 2023 โดยหนึ่งในชิ้นงานที่ถูกขโมยไปคือแจกันลายครามรูปทรงน้ำเต้าที่มีลวดลายเป็นดอกบัวและอยู่อี่ จาก Jingdezhen ประเทศจีนที่สร้างขึ้นประมาณช่วงปีคริสต์ศักราช 1500-1520

ศิลปินได้จำลองสร้างงานแจกันเหล่านี้ในรูปทรงและลวดลายดั้งเดิมเพื่อสื่อถึงประวัติศาสตร์และความจริงที่สูญหาย โดยได้ผสมผสานกับเทคนิคใหม่ โดยการเผาชิ้นงานไปพร้อมกับเศษดินเผาพอร์ซเลนเพื่อให้เกิดการแตกของรูปทรง เปรียบเหมือนเศษซากของชิ้นงานทางประวัติศาสตร์ ที่ถูกสร้างมาจากการค้นพบและต่อเติมจากชิ้นส่วนเล็กๆ ประกอบเป็นชิ้นงานและข้อมูลที่สมบูรณ์ที่สุดที่เป็นไปได้ ที่ยังเหลือที่ว่างให้กับการคาดคะเนและจินตนาการถึงความจริงที่เกิดขึ้น
วศินบุรี สุพานิชวรภาชน์ เกิดปี พ.ศ. 2514 ปัจจุบันอาศัยและทำงานที่จังหวัดราชบุรี ประเทศไทย นอกจากเป็นศิลปินแล้ว ก็ยังเป็นเจ้าของโรงงานเซรามิค เถ้า ฮง ไถ่ โดยเขาถือเป็นศิลปินที่สร้างชื่อจากงานเซรามิค และยังเป็นที่รู้จักจากงานประเภทภาพถ่าย ประติมากรรม ศิลปะจัดวาง และศิลปะชุมชน โดยศิลปินจบการศึกษาระดับปริญญาโททางด้าน Fine Art (Ceramic Major) จาก Universitaet Gesamthochschule Kassel ประเทศเยอรมนี เขาก่อตั้งหอศิลป์ dKunst และเทศกาลศิลปะชุมชน ครั้งแรกของจังหวัดราชบุรี ภายใต้ชื่อ Art Normal ด้วยความเชื่อที่ว่าศิลปะต้องเข้าถึงได้และตั้งอยู่บนพื้นฐานความยั่งยืน เป็นแรงบันดาลใจให้เขาจัดทำหลายโครงการศิลปะเพื่อชุมชนและสังคม

นิทรรศการ “Unsinn im Sinn” หรือ “อสาร” ที่จัดแสดงผลงานเซรามิกของวศินบุรี โดยชื่อ อสาร ถูกนำมาใช้เพื่อสื่อถึงการไร้ซึ่งสาระหรือการพยายามข้ามข้อจำกัดของสสาร นิทรรศการนี้ศิลปินได้ย้อนไปถึงความทรงจำและการทำงานทางด้านเซรามิก ตั้งแต่ช่วงแรกของการเรียน การทำงาน จนถึงปัจจุบัน ความทรงจำทั้งดีและไม่ดีถูกนำมาตีความใหม่ การเรียนและการทำงานที่ผ่านมาถูกนำมาพิจารณา วิเคราะห์ และนำเสนอผ่านผลงานแต่ละชิ้น วศินบุรีได้ทำการสำรวจประเด็นต่าง ๆ ไม่ว่าจะเป็นคำจำกัดความของเซรามิก การแบ่งแยกระหว่างงานศิลปะและงานหัตถกรรม การสำรวจเทคโนโลยีใหม่ควบคู่ไปกับการทบทวนการเรียนการสอนแบบดั้งเดิม มุมมองและการรับรู้ รวมถึงความหมายที่แฝงอยู่ในผลงานศิลปะ

สามารถรับชม นิทรรศการ “Unsinn im Sinn” ได้ตั้งแต่วันนี้ ถึงวันที่ 14 มกราคม 2024 ณ ATTA Gallery ตั้งแต่เวลา 13:00 - 18:30 น. ปิดวันจันทร์ และ วันอังคาร ห้ามพลาดเด็ดขาด!!

Hello Art Lovers! This week, we will take you to admire the ceramic works of Thai artist Wasinburee Supanichvoraparch. He is returning with a solo ceramic exhibition for the first time in almost 10 years, featuring the artwork titled "OMG (Oh my gourd (vase)) no.3." What makes this piece interesting? Well, it presents ceramic pieces that seem to have been destroyed and then meticulously reconstructed to their original form.

This work was inspired by ceramics stolen from The Princessehof Ceramics Museum in Leeuwarden, Netherlands, on February 13, 2023. One of the stolen pieces includes a charming vase with lotus-patterned wire motifs, originally created in Jingdezhen, China, around the years 1500-1520. The artist has replicated and created these works in their original forms using shapes and patterns to convey lost history and truths. They have blended traditional techniques with modern ones by burning the pieces along with burnt porcelain to induce fractures in the shapes, resembling the remnants of historical artifacts. These artworks are constructed from small discovered and reconstructed pieces, forming the most complete pieces of art and information possible. The remaining gaps allow for speculation and imagination about the truths that have occurred.

Wasinburee Supanichvoraparch
b. 1971, lives and works in Ratchaburi, Thailand
Supanichvoraparch is a leading Thai artist and the owner of Tao Hong Tai Ceramic
Factory. He has made his name through ceramic art but is also known for his
photography, sculpture, installations and public art. He earned a Master’s Degree in
Fine Art (Ceramic Major) at Universitaet Gesamthochschule Kassel, Germany.
Supanichvoraparch believes in the accessibility and sustainability of art. He is the
founder of an art center, dKunst, and Art Normal, Ratchaburi’s first public art event.
His work has inspired him to create numerous community art projects and social
activities.

Unsinn im Sinn is Wasinburee Supanichvoraparch’s first solo ceramic exhibition in Thailand since 2014. For the past decade, his full-scale ceramic exhibitions have only been shown in Europe. In this exhibition, Supanichvoraparch traces his memory and practice from the starting point of his ceramic training and career to the present.

In this exhibition, memories, good and bad, are reinterpreted. Former teaching and practice are assessed and presented through each art piece. Supanichvoraparch explores various issues from the definition of ceramics, the division of art and craft, ceramic technology and traditional teaching, and visual perception and its inferences.
