พบกับนิทรรศการ “Afternoon Effect” นิทรรศการเดี่ยวครั้งแรกของ “อุทิศ โพธิ์คำ” หรือที่รู้จักกันเป็นอย่างดีในชื่อ JAYOTO ศิลปิน Street Art ผู้สร้างงานคาแรคเตอร์อันมีเอกลักษณ์และการใช้สีสันสดใสพร้อมกับลายเส้นความเนี้ยบเฉพาะตัว ครั้งนี้ได้บอกเล่าเรื่องราว ณ ดินแดน afternoon effect เป็นสถานที่ที่พระอาทิตย์ไม่มีวันตก และเรื่องราวของเหล่าตัวละครที่ Jayoto ได้สร้างสรรค์ขึ้นในดินแดนแห่งจินตนาการ

ในดินเเดนที่เหล่าตัวละครในจินตนาการ ได้ออกมาโลดเเล่นและแสดงความเป็นตัวเองได้อย่างเต็มที่ใน afternoon effect ดินเเดนเเห่งแสงเเดดส่องจ้า พื้นที่บริเวณแสงพระอาทิตย์หักเห ได้ส่องกระทบลงบนเหล่าตัวละครทำให้ตัวละครดูเปล่งประกาย สีสดใส แสงแดดทำให้ทุกสิ่งมีสีสัน มีชีวิตชีวาได้อย่างน่าตื่นตา และทำให้โลกมีความน่าหลงใหลมากยิ่งขึ้นจะสนุกสนานและน่าติดตามเพียงใด มาพบกันได้ที่จินตนาการของ Jayoto ห้ามพลาดเด็ดขาด!!

Afternoon Effect” the first solo exhibition of “Autit Pohkham” or well known as “JAYOTO”, a street artist who has a unique character and a distinctive use of lively colors with particular and neat drawing lines. This time, he expresses a story in the Afternoon Effect land, where the sun never sets and the story occurs in a certain time of those JAYOTO characters that was created in an imaginary land.
A land that imaginary characters have shined and manifested oneself thoroughly in Afternoon Effect, a land of dazzling sunshine. A space where the sunlight refracts, affected on those characters and made them shine and colorful. The sunlight impressively enables everything to become flamboyant and lively. It makes the world more incredibly captivating. How fun and exciting the work will be, let’s find out in the imagination of JAYOTO.

พบกับศิลปะจัดวางชุด “COLLAPSED : ทรุด” โดย วิชญ มุกดามณี ที่สร้างสรรค์ขึ้นในช่วงเวลาตั้งแต่เดือนเมษายน - กันยายน 2566 อันเป็นระยะเวลาที่คาบเกี่ยวกับเหตุการณ์ทางการเมืองที่สำคัญมากมาย โดยเฉพาะการเลือกตั้งสมาชิกสภาผู้แทนราษฎรไทย พ.ศ. 2566 ซึ่งถึงแม้ว่าผลการเลือกตั้งจะประกาศออกมาเป็นที่สิ้นสุด แต่มาจนถึง ณ วันที่ข้าพเจ้ากำลังร่างข้อเขียนดังกล่าวนี้ กระบวนการได้มาซึ่งรัฐบาลยังคงเต็มไปด้วยการตั้งคำถาม การถกเถียง การต่อรอง และความสับสนอลหม่านของเกมการเมือง กลไกการเลือกตั้งแบบไทยๆ ทำให้ความสมหวังที่ดูคล้ายจะใกล้แค่เอื้อมสามารถล่องลอยหายไปได้อย่างน่าประหลาดใจ (หรืออาจจะไม่น่าประหลาดใจสำหรับอีกหลายๆ คน) ทุกก้าวย่างของสังคมเต็มไปด้วยความหมิ่นเหม่และเปราะบาง พร้อมจะทรุดครืนลงมาต่อหน้าต่อตาคล้ายกับมีคนกำหนดเอาไว้ นำมาซึ่งความรู้สึกล่อแหลม หวาดระแวง เกรงกลัว และท้ายที่สุดคือความเกลียดชังอย่างหลีกเลี่ยงไม่ได้ ห้วงเวลาแห่งความพลิกผันทำให้ความเชื่อถือและเชื่อมั่นในใจของหลายคนผันผวนซวนเซเหมือนถูกปล่อยให้ล่องลอยอยู่กลางทะเล เหตุการณ์ต่างๆ เกิดขึ้น คงอยู่เพียงชั่วขณะหนึ่ง แล้วแปรเปลี่ยนไปอย่างต่อเนื่อง เป็นระรอกไม่หยุดหย่อน ทิ้งเพียงภาพและเสียงที่ถูกบันทึกไว้ พร้อมกับร่องรอย ความทรงจำ ให้เราได้เฝ้ามอง สังเกต และเรียนรู้

"COLLAPSED" by VICHAYA MUKDAMANEE were created during the period from April to September 2023, a time fraught with significant political events, especially the general election of the members of the Thai House of Representatives in 2023. Although the election results were finally announced, until the day I am writing this, the process to establish the government is still marked by questions, debates, negotiations, and the chaotic confusion of political games. The mechanics of the Thai-style election have unexpectedly (or maybe not so unexpectedly for many people) let the hopes that seemed so close slip away. Every step of society is filled with fragility and volatility, ready to collapse in front of our eyes as if someone has planned it. This sparks sharp feelings of dread, fear, and ultimately unavoidable resentment. The whirlwind of change shakes the faith and trust in many hearts, as if they are being let free to drift aimlessly. Various events occur, last only momentarily, and then continuously mutate in an unstoppable cycle, leaving only images and sounds that have been recorded, alongside traces of memory, for us to watch, observe, and learn.

JOURNEY THROUGH THE 90’S is an exhibition that provides a unique perspective on the 90s, taking viewers back in time to the 1990s until just before Y2K. The era is manifested through a group of 5 diverse artists RT RATTEE, TIVLy, jornbehindthehouse, i.GUYY and CARTOON who came together to reminisce about these memorable moments, interpreted from their perspectives, seen through their eyes, constructed from their memories, and transmitted through their creative expressions. The exhibition allows you to look back on the cultural highlights of that time, such as music. The 90s housed the peak of Hip Hop and R&B culture along with the popularity of Japanese cartoons. The art, culture, fashion, and lifestyle from that time have had an impact on contemporary art and culture in various dimensions.

The five artists invite audiences to join in and immerse themselves in these beautiful memories some may have forgotten. Come feel all the feelings from the past that remain until the present.
