นิทรรศการ ‘THE WORLD OF STUDIO GHIBLI'S ANIMATION EXHIBITION BANGKOK 2023’ จะพาแฟน ๆ ไปพบกับฉากประทับใจจาก 10 ภาพยนตร์แอนิเมชั่นเรื่องเยี่ยมจากสตูดิโอจิบลิ ไม่ว่าจะเป็น ป้ายรถเมล์จากเรื่อง My Neighbor Totoro ฉากจักรยานลอยฟ้า และฉากบอลลูน ที่ผู้เข้าชมงานสามารถทำท่าโหนบอลลูน เหมือนในแอนิเมชั่นเรื่อง Kiki’s Delivery Service หรือแม่มดน้อยกิกิ ขึ้นรถไฟแห่งวิญญาณที่เว้นที่ว่างข้างๆ ไว้ให้แฟนๆ ไปนั่งใกล้ชิดกับ ‘คาโอนาชิ’ หรือ ‘ภูตไร้หน้า’ จากเรื่อง Spirited Away พร้อมด้วยอีกหลายฉากจากแอนิเมชั่นในดวงใจอย่าง Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind, Porco Rosso, Pom Poko, Princess Momonoke, Howl’s Moving Castle และ Ponyo on a Cliff by the Sea และพิเศษสุดๆ สำหรับกับฉาก ‘ลาปูต้า’ (Laputa) ปราสาทกลับหัวจากเรื่อง Castle in the Sky ซึ่งจัดแสดงเป็นครั้งแรกในโลกที่กรุงเทพฯ

'The World of Studio Ghibli's Animation Exhibition Bangkok 2023' is extending its run at CentralWorld Live until 2 January 2024. Special early bird tickets for the extension period are priced at Bt490 and will be available from 1 – 6 October 2023.

Following an overwhelming response and high demand, the exhibition will be extended. Additionally, a new zone called the “Special Exhibit How To Make Studio Ghibli’s Animation” has been added, featuring sketches from Studio Ghibli.

The exhibition takes fans through memorable scenes from 10 outstanding animated films from Studio Ghibli, including iconic locations like the bus stop sign from ‘My Neighbor Totoro”, the flying bicycle and bakery scene from “Kiki’s Delivery Service”, the relaxing beach from “Porco Rosso”, the homes of the Tanuki from “Pom Poko”, the lush forest from “Princess Mononoke”, Chihiro and the Sea Rail train from “Spirited Away” (complete with an Easter Egg featuring a durian), the magical moving castle from “Howl’s Moving Castle” (with an Easter Egg featuring a little dog), and Ponyo and her sisters from “Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea” (located at the front of CentralWorld on Rama 1 Road).

Thai Ghibli lovers also get the exclusive chance to visit the gigantic castle Laputa from “Castle in the Sky”, which will be included in the exhibition for the first time ever!

In addition to the special 'Laputa' scene, this new round of the Studio Ghibli exhibition includes a special zone called the ‘Special Exhibit How To Make Studio Ghibli’s Animation' which details the production process of Studio Ghibli through concept sketches and animation drawings, allowing Thai Ghibli fans to have a glimpse at the creative processes in getting the Ghibli movies from the page to the screen. Normally, these drawings are not exhibited in public and cannot be photographed so Thai Ghibli fans should not miss this opportunity to capture impressive images at the ‘Special Exhibit How To Make Studio Ghibli’s Animation'.

The extended season of 'The World of Studio Ghibli's Animation Exhibition Bangkok 2023' will be open from 7 October 2023 to 2 January 2024, at CentralWorld Live. Early bird tickets will be available from 1 – 6 October 2023, at just Bt490.

As we grow and gaze back upon our beginnings, we recognize that life's adventures stretch toward the distant horizon. Even if we find ourselves removed from our origins, the concept of home remains forever near. Home can encompass people, places, objects, or anything that offers safety, warmth, and comfort, grounding us and intertwining with our own existence.
With the passage of time and the advance of age, we often erect new abodes along our journey, sometimes deliberately and sometimes serendipitously. Irrespective of how far life's path winds, a multitude of dwellings remains in our proximity. For though we may not physically inhabit them, they endure as cherished locations within our musings, ready to welcome us back at any moment.
