เริ่มด้วยนิทรรศการ “WATCH ME NENE” นิทรรศการเดี่ยวครั้งแรกของ NNENE.IIE นักวาดภาพประกอบรุ่นใหม่ไฟแรง กับลายเส้นอันเป็นเอกลักษณ์ ต่อด้วยนิทรรศการ “Take Flight to the Beyond” นิทรรศการเดี่ยวของศิลปินคู่พี่สาวและน้องชาย ยายเพิ้งและนายพราน กับผลงานที่ถูกสร้างสรรค์โดยการวาดรูปเดิมซ้ำๆเพื่อแสดงถึงเจตนารมณ์ของนายพราน พร้อมกับเอาใจสายอาร์ตทอยกับนิทรรศการ “EVERYBODY KNOWS” โดย Kasing Lung เจ้าของคาแรคเตอร์ Labubu และผองเพื่อน กับนิทรรศการเดี่ยวครั้งแรกของศิลปินที่ฮ่องกง ยังมีนิทรรศการอะไรอีกบ้าง ตามไปรับชมกันได้เลย!!
Starting with the exhibition “WATCH ME NENE,” the first solo exhibition by NNENE.IIE, a vibrant new-generation illustrator with a distinctive style. Followed by the exhibition “Take Flight to the Beyond,” a solo show by the artistic sibling duo, Yaipoeng and Naipran with works created through repeated drawing to express Naipran’s intentions. Catering to art toy fans, we have “EVERYBODY KNOWS” by Kasing Lung, the creator of the character Labubu and friends, marking the artist’s first solo exhibition in Hong Kong. The exhibition showcases the special VICHITR x Sundae Kids Collection, a collaboration between VICHITR, experts in home fabrics for over 40 years, and the world-famous illustration artist Sundae Kids. The collection turns into home decor that will warmly and delightfully embrace any home, under the theme "Happy Home for a Happy Heart."
At the event, discover curtain fabrics and home decorations filled with a warm touch that will tell the story behind the designs, from the details of the fabric and carefully selected colors, blending with the charming and endearing patterns of Sundae Kids, adding joy to your home. Yaipoeng and Naipran are siblings. Yaipoeng is the older sister who has studied art while Naipran, the younger brother, was born with autism and possesses a unique and special artistic talent.

“Take Flight to the Beyond“ is an exhibition built on faith, determination and contemplation of Naipran who is not good at communication or telling stories like ordinary people. Naipran uses the same drawing repeatedly to express his intentions and desires for what arises beneath the mind and heart that is beyond his own ability to vent or communicate in words for others to comprehend and understand.

“Illusion of Stability” นิทรรศการเดี่ยวครั้งแรกของ WAL หรือ วาฬร์ จิรชัยสกุล ศิลปินมากความสามารถผู้มีผลงานเป็นที่ยอมรับในระดับนานาชาติและมีผลงานที่อยู่ในครอบครองของนักสะสมชั้นนำมากมาย โดยนิทรรศการครั้งนี้เป็นการรวบรวมผลงานสีน้ำมันในรอบ 5 ปี ที่จะพาผู้ชมเข้าไปกระเทาะเปลือกอันแข็งแกร่งแต่เปราะบาง หนักแน่นแต่เบาหวิว ยิ่งใหญ่แต่ย้อนแย้ง ของสิ่งที่ผู้คนนับล้านบนโลกนี้ต่างไขว่คว้าแสวงหาเพื่อความปลอดภัยทางใจ นั่นคือสิ่งที่เรียกว่า “ความมั่นคง”

แรงบันดาลใจในการสร้างงานศิลปะของวาฬร์เกิดจากการตกตะกอนทางความคิดผ่านการมองเห็นความเป็นไปของชีวิตมนุษย์ ทั้งตัวเขาและคนรอบข้าง ที่ต่างพยายามแสวงหาสิ่งยึดเหนี่ยวจิตใจในช่วงที่กำลังหาทางออกของชีวิต ทั้งการพึ่งพาศาสนาปรัชญา การสะสมเงินทอง การสร้างตัวตนและสถานะทางสังคม ไปจนถึงการฝากความมั่นคงไว้กับระบบต่าง ๆ ในสังคม อาทิ ระบบทุนนิยม เสรีภาพ หรือแม้กระทั่งสถาบันทางการเมือง ถ่ายทอดบนภาพสีน้ำมันทั้ง 30 ภาพผ่านการใช้สัญญะอันเรียบง่ายแต่ทรงพลัง ซึ่งเป็นเอกลักษณ์ในการทำงานของเขาเสมอมา ศิลปินหวังว่านิทรรศการครั้งนี้จะทำให้ผู้ชมลองสำรวจสิ่งที่กำลังยึดถืออยู่ ซึ่งบางครั้งสิ่งที่มนุษย์คิดว่ามั่นคงที่สุดและแน่นอนที่สุดนั้นอาจเป็น “ความไม่มั่นคง” ก็เป็นได้

“Illusion of Stability” solo exhibition by WAL, or Wal Chirachaisakul, an exceptionally talented artist with an internationally acclaimed portfolio and works held by numerous prominent collectors. This exhibition is a curated collection of WAL’s oil paintings over the past 5 years, inviting viewers to peel back the layers of strength and delicacy, solid yet fragile, substantial yet ethereal. The artworks, grand in scale but introspective, embody the paradox of what people, numbering in the millions around the globe, relentlessly seek and strive for – a quest for emotional security, a pursuit commonly known as ‘stability’.

The artistic inspiration behind the creation of WAL emanates from the free-fall of thoughts as they cascade through the observation of the human experience, both himself and the people around him who collectively strive to seek anchors for their souls during the tumultuous quest for meaning in life – whether it be leaning on religious beliefs, accumulating wealth, crafting identities, and social statuses, or even entrusting stability to various societal systems. These range from ideologies, freedoms, to political institutions, as each entity endeavors to navigate the labyrinth of life’s escape routes.

WAL has conveyed this profound emptiness onto a canvas of 30 oil paintings, employing a simple yet powerful symbolism that has consistently defined his artistic expression – the Chada headdress represents nobility and purity while gold and glistening coins symbolize the elusive power of wealth and the currency that whispers of authority and dominance, the golden mask which becomes a metaphor for self-creation, and the goddess Libertas who embodies a grand political aspirations. Together with the deliberate juxtaposition of opposing symbols, such as the skill signifying the liberation from duties and roles, the floating letters directionless like the unpredictable breath of human existence, all of which create a discordance.

WAL fervently hopes that this exhibition will encourage viewers to explore what they currently hold. Sometimes, what humans perceive as the utmost security and certainty might also be a manifestation of ‘instability’.
