"When life is like a path, we expect to smell the flowers throughout the journey.”
Looking for a comfort zone through the perspective of the characters that do not want to be adults from the original concepts of identity or the character leads them to look through the external area, which is the source of the exhibition "Smell some dirt along the way" a.kidfromyesterday
Character’s small fear is inevitable that being an adult when the day they have to grow therefore, the journey of the characters remains in a bright and colorful world that reflects children, at the same time, the word "dirt" is inserted to prepare that the world may not be beautiful throughout your journey. Therefore, how to finding happiness along the way in order to forget some suffering. Sometimes, accepting and sinking into suffering allows you to adapt more. Giving the opportunity to enter that suffering for a period of time as the “dirt” that is inserted into the path that is expected to have beautiful flowers and journey. Human beings can fail; we do not need to be pressured to achieve perfection or to be the person society desires. Have fun and learn from pain and failure, which will help heal and make us stronger. The artist communicates through the events that characters often encounter bad jokes in life. Including the context and implications of space represented through elements of flowers and the “dirt” that is presented through the cigarette icon, which presents two aspects of life that have both good and bad paths. It reminds him of the warning that even if you fall and get hurt, choose to fall and let it be known: How bad a joke can life be?
Join the characters as they struggle on their journey, and hopefully, the audience’s journey isn't too painful because these characters are ready to fall down and become your friends in every moment of your life.

นิทรรศการ “Childhood” โดย Sahred Toy คือความพยายามค้นหาเส้นทางเพื่อกลับไปยังวัยวันแห่งความเป็นเด็ก อันเป็นช่วงเวลาแห่งความสุข ความสนุก และอิสระในการที่จะตั้งคำถามและเรียนรู้สิ่งใหม่ ๆ โดยปราศจากกรอบที่เราเรียนรู้เมื่อเป็น ‘ผู้ใหญ่’ ผลงานในนิทรรศการนี้จึงเหมือนเป็นผลลัพธ์ของการลองพาตัวเองกลับไปสู่ความเป็นเด็กนั้น ทั้งกระบวนการสร้างสรรค์ผลงานที่เกิดจากการ ‘ด้นสด’ (Improvise) เปิดใจและจินตนาการให้กับทุกความคิดและทุกสิ่งที่เกิดขึ้นรอบตัว ณ ขณะนั้น เสมือนการวาดรูปของเด็ก ที่วาดไปบนกระดาษอย่างอิสระและปราศจากการคิดหรือร่างเค้าโครงไว้ก่อน

ผลงานที่จัดแสดงในนิทรรศการนี้ จึงเหมือนเป็น ‘สนามเด็กเล่น’ ที่ศิลปินเชื้อเชิญทุกความคิดและทุกสิ่งที่ศิลปินกำลังครุ่นคิด ณ ขณะหนึ่ง ให้มาปะทะและปะมือเล่นร่วมกันในพื้นที่แห่งนี้ ตั้งแต่ เจ้าหนูอะตอม เด็กผู้หญิงกระโปรงสั้น ฉลาม เสาชิงช้า วิญญาณ สัญลักษณ์ของพุทธศาสนา จู๋ ฯลฯ และหากการพบปะสังสรรค์ของสิ่งที่ศิลปินเลือกหยิบมาวางไว้ด้วยกันในพื้นที่แห่งนี้ จะนำไปสู่ความคิดหรือเรื่องเล่าใด ๆ ที่ผู้ชมอยากลองเล่า เขาก็พร้อมจะแปะมือทักทาย และชวนผู้ชมกระโจนเข้ามาร่วมเป็นผู้เล่นในสนามเด็กเล่นแห่งนี้ร่วมกัน โดยนิทรรศการนี้สร้างสรรค์และภัณฑารักษ์โดย GroundControl

‘Childhood’, Sahred Toy’s latest solo exhibition, is the artist’s attempt at finding a path back to the days of his childhood, a time of joy, mirth, and the freedom to question and learn without the self-imposed constraints we’ve come to learn as ‘adults’. The works in this exhibition are therefore a result of that experiment in revisiting his youth. This extends to the process of creation, which was largely a product of improvisation, with the artist opening up his heart and imagination to everything going on around him in the moment. The process is meant to imitate a child’s drawings, freely putting images on paper without planning or forethought.
.
As such, the works in this exhibition may be considered ‘playgrounds’ where the artist has invited all his thoughts and musings in a particular moment to come together and play. Be it the Atom Boy, a girl in a short skirt, a shark, a swing arch, ghosts, buddhist symbols, penises, etc. And should the amalgamation of objects the artist has chosen to include within this space lead to any sort of idea or anecdote among the audience, he is more than ready to give them a high five and invite them to join him and become another player within this playground .

นิทรรศการ "Simplicity" โดย ณฐกร คำกายปรง กับงานที่จะทำให้ผู้ที่รักในงานศิลปะได้ลองใคร่ครวญถึงโลกแห่งความเรียบง่าย และพินิจถึงห้วงลึกภายในจิตใจ

ในสังคมที่เต็มไปด้วยความวุ่นวายและความซับซ้อน ศิลปินนำเสนอมุมมองที่ไม่เหมือนใครผ่านผลงานที่เห็นความจริงได้ในสองมิติ แสดงถึงแก่นแท้ของการดำรงอยู่ นิทรรศการนี้ท้าทายให้ผู้ชมได้ตั้งคำถามเกี่ยวกับการที่เราต้องใช้ชีวิตตามระบบในรูปแบบที่ซับซ้อน ที่เรามักจะยึดถือใช้ในการควบคุมชีวิต และวัฎจักรของความคิดที่ไม่เคยหยุดนิ่งของเรา

ศิลปินดึงความรู้สึกจากห้วงลึกภายในจิตใจเชื่อมโยงสู่ผลงาน จากบ้านเกิดของเขาที่โคราช ผลักดันให้เกิดแรงบันดาลใจจากการใช้ชีวิตบนความเรียบง่ายในชีวิตประจำวัน ผ่านการไตร่ตรองอย่างมีสติ ส่งต่อความประทับใจเหล่านั้นผ่านชิ้นงานของเขา มีการลดทอนขนาดของส่วนที่ไม่จำเป็นออกไป ในขณะที่ยังคงรักษาส่วนสำคัญไว้ ส่งผลก่อให้เกิดงานศิลปะที่แสดงออกถึงความสันโดษ เงียบสงบ และห้วงลึกของอารมณ์

At the age of 93, Extra Professor Aree Soothipunt, also known as "Teacher Aree," the National Artist in the field of Visual Arts for the year 2012, presents a collection of artworks reflecting life, beauty, and experiences through his paintings created between 2021 and 2023.
Teacher Aree Soothipunt began his teaching career in 1957 at Srinakharinwirot University, Prasanmit Campus, Bangkok, where, in addition to being an artist, he played a vital role in connecting individuals and institutions systematically."
The word "art." For teacher Aree, it signifies the experience of hands-on practice and observing the results through the creative process. This experience aims to encourage critical thinking, analysis, and the development of artistic skills, both in terms of thinking methods and practical forms. In the exhibition "Aesthetic Experience," artworks created from the later period are presented. These works convey ideas through abstract forms using the continuous line contour drawing technique. This method requires concentration and focus to accurately depict lines.
Teacher Aree believes that beauty lies in speed because when we feel, think, and contemplate, we can perceive beauty through appropriate rhythms and proportions.
Grace and the female form are symbols of abundance. The works in this series express, in a way that viewers can understand, the boundaries of beauty through the elements of form, color, shape, and texture that are the artist's independent creation. Because the beauty of the female figure is not represented directly but is reduced through the artist's unique creative process and techniques.

JGM Gallery presents Tangram, an exhibition of new paintings and sculptures by Dominic Beattie and Olly Fathers.

The aesthetic tools of both artists are pattern, shape and colour. Their conceptual approaches, however, are almost exact inversions of each other. Using an overtly organic medium - timber - Fathers meticulously arranges his compositions into geometric iterations. Beattie, on the other hand, uses an artificial material - acrylic paint - to create loose configurations that might seem to have developed organically.

In combination, the artists blur the line between shape and shapelesness and, by extension, chaos and order. In front of these paintings, one might ponder the extent to which we are uniform products of the universe, or individual deviations from its structure. .
Fathers work is, in some sense, analogous to The Ship of Theseus, a paradox that asks whether an object remains the same if all its original components have been replaced. By example, Fathers repeats his geometric arrangements dozens of times, however, their constituents - colour and the grain of the timber - inevitably vary. His geometry will always rhyme but never repeat itself.

If pattern is the repetition of the same shape at regular intervals, then one might struggle to define Beattie's work in these terms. A rectangle may precede another, but its dimensions fluctuate because of the artist's gestural application. He draws inspiration from folk quilts and stained glass windows, objects which we are used to viewing within meticulous matrices. Beattie, however, leads these shapes astray and encourages them to defy their algorithmic essence.
